Over the past few days, City Harvest Church in Singapore, led by Pastor Kong Hee, has been holding its first Asia Conference. With registered attendance around the 20,000 mark and many different countries being represented, the power of breakthrough in this is enormous. Many have come from neighbouring Malaysia, Indonesia and Taiwan to this conference. Pastor Ulf Ekman arrived on Thursday, 20th November to preach at two meetings.

Last issue of Charisma magazine contained an article about pastor Ulf Ekman and his involvement in unity among Christians in Sweden. Here is pastor Ulf's response on the article.

We usually meet our Centre Leaders several times a year, and once a year we take a trip together. Last year we were in Turkey, and prior to that Israel. Next year we will probably visit the 7 Churches in Asia Minor.
This year, our destination was Rome. Altogether with our wives, there were just over thirty of us and for most of the group, it was the first time they had been to Rome. It was an overwhelming experience for them, especially because now they could see at close hand the places where the early Christians had been persecuted and martyred.

On 29th October, our beloved Birgitta Ekman turned 60! As Editor-in-Chief of the periodical, Missions Magazine, founder and manager of the children’s fund, IndianChildren and wife of Ulf Ekman – to name but a few of her activities – she has many strings to her bow. India, where she herself was born and grew up as a little girl, is something that has an especially warm spot in her heart.

It’s so easy to misunderstand what you are reading or draw the wrong conclusions about something. Today, I went across the road and took an apple from the tree beside my neighbour’s summer cottage.
