Carnie's Encouragement

Carnie's blog of encouragement for a victorious and gracious life in Christ!

Carnie is married to Ugochi and they have 2 children. He was brought up in a Christian home but truly encountered the Holy Spirit after University. He works in the City for an investment bank. Carnie is part of the worship team at RCF and is also part of a team of volunteers who lead worship at a local prison.

Carnie cherishes the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit and has a passion to see people within and outside the church encounter God's presence. His desire is to see the church move into exuberant, passionate praise and intimate worship.

Rejoice in all circumstances

Good Morning Family, hope you are well. Sometimes there are trials God approves in and for our lives that are part of His glorious plan. Those trials help develop us so we get to the full measure of God in this world.

In those times rejoice, draw near to God even more, engage the Holy Spirit our great Helper and Counselor and ask for God's wisdom. He will definitely speak!

James 1:2-5 NIV
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

With that in mind, since we all have various challenges and trials at different times in life, in love let us consider how in these last days, as the increase of wickedness causes the love of many to grow cold (Matthew 24:12) we can encourage and spur each other towards God - love for Him and each other. Not giving up meeting together.

Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another---and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Hold on, keep overcoming, keep walking in victory, rejoice through it all, consider it pure joy, be courageous, be very courageous!

Do not fear!

Hebrews 10:23 NIV
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Have a blessed day. Stay strong and be greatly encouraged!

It's Going to be a Great Week!

It's going to be great week for All of us because God Himself goes before us. We can rest assured that whatever we will go through this week or wherever life takes us, God, the maker of All things will go before us.

Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV

"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Our God is so great!

He loves us too much to leave us on our own.

Check out this love - Romans 8:32 NIV He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all---how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

Awesome! Have a wonderful week.

Walking in the Gifts

Good Morning Family, just want to encourage us all to keep walking in the gifts God has given us and will give us. Don't be discouraged, don't be afraid, don't be intimidated by the enemy, grow it, build it and let God use it to edify His people through you. Be blessed with this scripture.

Ephesians 4:11-16 NIV

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Every gracious God given gift in us is simply for the sole purpose of equipping and edifying the body of Christ in love vs 11 and 16. So please don't hide it, nurture it and use it.

Matthew 5:14-16 NIV

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Let your gift give light to everyone in the house!

Have a blessed day everyone! Our God is good!

Fresh

The good thing about our faithful God is that He delivers fresh manna, fresh revelations, fresh bread everyday for us and that's what gives us life.

That's what injects fresh energy and supernatural strength to our spirit, soul and body.

Matthew 4:4 NKJV

But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'"

I praise God today for His awesome bread and revelations to us individually and as a body specifically tailor made to meet our needs according to the riches of His grace and glory. Amen!

He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:20 NKJV

Glory to God!

As we all by His blessings have access and look forward to breakfast this morning, a cup of tea, coffee so also by faith we believe and receive daily bread from God's Heavenly kitchen.

Enjoy fresh manna today, enjoy fresh heavenly bread , enjoy fresh blessings and give God all the glory from whom comes our help.

There is no fear in love

Good Morning Family, rest in the joy of the Lord and rise above condemnation as only God alone knows the true state of our hearts.

Jeremiah 17:10 NIV

“I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”

Hebrews 10:24 NIV

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.

Father we love you where we are, thank you for the journey so far, we desire to know you and your love more and more each day and to be like you in everyway producing fruits of righteousness in Jesus name. Amen!

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NIV

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

1 John 4:18 NIV

There is no fear in love. But (God's) perfect love (for us) drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Have a great weekend everyone!

The joy of the Lord is our strength!

His Wonderful Presence

Good Morning Family, hope you had a good weekend. Praise God for His wonderful presence over the weekend in our midst especially on Saturday.

b2ap3_thumbnail_cloud.jpg

I felt we received a fresh impartation and word on Saturday and amongst all that was prayed and prophesied, this morning God's Spirit just reminded me of God's words through Simon (extract below - thanks for sending Simon) of the need for our new identity in Him this season personally and corporately. Our identity in Christ is always the same and never changes but our position and alignment to the centre of His will and purposes can change. There is indeed a fire burning to burn off everything associated with the past in the spiritual and physical and the essence is so God can fill us with fresh prophecies - His fresh presence and Glory! Years and time are in God's hands and ALL that the enemy has stolen will be recovered and restored. Let's continue to be sensitive to what He is and will say to us and please share with each other.

Word of God through Simon

"There is fire in this place I am here to burn up the chaff to purify and cleanse so that I can fill you with My presence to a greater degree. Open your spirit to receive Me in all My fullness.

Will you step up to the plate. Are you willing to do the impossible?

Are you willing to love the unlovely?

I am desperate to extend My love and hope to the community around you.

For now is the time!

See a bright light around the body..this will draw those who are in darkness..the broken, the wounded, the hurting..."

God's vision and words always connects to our spirit so we may run with it. As we unite and say yes to God it will surely come to pass.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 NKJV

Then the LORD answered me and said: "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

Joel 2:25-26 NKJV

"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you.

You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame.

Amen! Glory to God!

Have a blessed week everyone! We serve a faithful God!

Reaching out to the dying world

Good Morning Family, in prayers last night I saw a vision of Jesus saying "If you knew I would return this time next week, what would you be doing?" It was so strong and I still hear it in my spirit this morning. Friends time is very short. Jesus is coming sooner than we think!

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Matthew 24:37-39

Friends these are the last days and there is a responsibility for us to reach out to the dying world - to think outward.

Peter when the 1st outpouring of the Spirit came upon them said they, then were in the last days...how much so us.

No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: “ ‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people.

Acts 2:16-17

Please, please, please whatever we do, in our eating and drinking, working and sleeping, outreach and ministries please make sure that there is oil in your lamp. Please make sure God's presence and Spirit is in everything we do and everywhere we go. Not just on Sundays but every day, every time of our lives - even at 'midnight'!

The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ Matthew 25:4-6

These kind of messages are no longer preached in churches for fear of Man perhaps and even I don't usually talk like with such seriousness this but I have to say what the Spirit is saying.

The last day is not the time to wake up to an empty lamp. It will be too late to buy!

“Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’ “ ‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’ “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

Matthew 25:7-10

If we know Jesus Christ is coming back this time next week, what would we be doing as individuals and as a church?

The Christian walk is a personal walk and we all responsible for our own lamps and oil.

“Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.” “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

Revelation 22:7, 12-15

He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.

Revelation 22:20-21

Have a blessed day everyone! Our God is good!

Faith is total trust in God and His word

Good Morning Family, this is another day that our great King has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

Faith is total trust in God and His word. So though we might be limping, we might be physically sick, in need of His touch we still know and trust Him as our healer, though we have no money or provision for tomorrow we know He is a great provider who fed 5000 men excluding women and children with plenty leftovers. So praise Him today for Who He is.

Habakkuk 3:17-19

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.

He is your strength so show Him that you trust Him by your joyful countenance and praising Him for who He is.

He is The maker of Heaven and Earth, Lord God Almighty who owns EVERY animal of the forest, who knows EVERY bird in the mountains and owns EVERY insects in the fields, who owns the WHOLE world and ALL that is in it. Psalm 50:10-12

Have a blessed day. Our God is good! He really is and in His presence there's fullness of joy! And pleasures forever and ever and ever and ever! He has and will continue to make known to us through His Spirit the path of life. Psalm 16:11 He goes and lives in us. Hallelujah!!!

A Better Way

There are some people who wait for the right time, the right place, a Sunday morning, a pastor, a word which are all good in itself and very necessary but there is a better way, we should be a people who 'dive in' when we feel the Spirit of Jesus moving!

I love the faith, desire, the tenacity and character of the woman with the issue of blood for 12 years. After 12 solid years of spending all her living on physicians who couldn't help her she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.

Wow! It was after she received what she wanted that Jesus noticed and realised someone drew power out of Him.

At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” Mark 5:28-30

Let's draw and keep drawing from Jesus all we need for ourselves and eachother by ourselves!

The Lamb was slain to receive loads for us His children. Healing is just bread from the Master's table Mathew 15:27

There's loads more!

In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”

Revelation 5:12

Different levels and depth to God's presence and power

Good Morning Family, hope you are well. Just want to encourage us to continue to press in as we seek God together, the Rain is coming! and with time it will turn into a river that we cannot but swim in.

Here's the picture God gave me for us this morning, there are different levels and depth to God's presence and power - let's press in deeper together to reach the greatest heights:

Ezekiel 47:1-6, 9

The man brought me back to the entrance to the temple, and I saw water coming out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). The water was coming down from under the south side of the temple, south of the altar. He then brought me out through the north gate and led me around the outside to the outer gate facing east, and the water was trickling from the south side. As the man went eastward with a measuring line in his hand, he measured off a thousand cubits and then led me through water that was ankle-deep. He measured off another thousand cubits and led me through water that was knee-deep. He measured off another thousand and led me through water that was up to the waist. He measured off another thousand, but now it was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough to swim in---a river that no one could cross. He asked me, “Son of man, do you see this?” Then he led me back to the bank of the river. Swarms of living creatures will live wherever the river flows. There will be large numbers of fish, because this water flows there and makes the salt water fresh; so where the river flows everything will live.

The presence of God is rising in us, the Rain is coming! It's being poured out and at the right time out of our bellies will flow rivers of living water. And Everything that comes near us - where the River flows will live.

Jsus on the last and greatest day with a loud voice qualified anyone with genuine thirst for an outpouring and great works - Greater than He did. John 14:12 Hallelujah!

On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” John 7:37-38

"In the last days I will pour out My Spirit on ALL flesh" Acts 2:17

Have a blessed day everyone as we desire, thirst and long for His outpouring with ALL our strength, soul, mind - All of us.
