Making a difference - Dave Food Easter - Dave Food
When Jesus told us to “love your neighbour as yourself”, He wasn’t just talking about the person who lives next door — He meant everyone we meet. The truth is, we don’t need to travel across the world to make a difference; we can start with the people right in front of us.

A smile, a kind word, a listening ear — small things can have a big impact. You never know what someone is going through. A simple act of kindness could be the very thing that lifts their spirit and reminds them that they matter.

Being a good neighbour is not about grand gestures; it's about living out God's love in practical ways every day. It's asking, "How can I be a blessing here and now?" It’s helping carry a bag, making time for a chat, and offering a prayer when needed.

Let’s not underestimate the power of small, daily acts of love. In God’s hands, they can change lives — even ours.
is no gospel, no hope, no salvation. As Paul wrote, "If Christ be not raised, your faith is vain." Easter matters because it is God's seal of approval on Jesus’ sacrifice. It declares that the price for our sin has been fully paid.

The empty tomb means that death does not have the final word. It means that when we trust Christ, we are not trusting in a dead hero, but in a living Saviour who intercedes for us even now.

Easter tells us that no matter how dark life becomes, God's purposes will prevail. It assures the believer that suffering is not wasted, and that beyond every Good Friday is a Resurrection Sunday.

The real question is not simply, "Do you believe that Jesus rose?" but "Has His resurrection changed your life?" Easter is not just a doctrine to affirm; it is a life to be lived.

Strengthening Leadership - Dave Food  Love Egham - Mission with St John's - Dave Food
We will strengthen our Leadership team by putting Deacons in place in May. You will see Rob, Jonathan, and Salma stepping up to serve in this vital role.

The Church needs deacons because God's design for His people includes servants who reflect Christ's humility and strength. In Acts 6:3, the apostles instructed, "Therefore, brothers, pick out from among you seven men of good repute, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we will appoint to this duty."

Deacons free the Senior Leaders to labour in prayer and the ministry of the Word. They protect the unity of the Church, care for practical needs, and embody Christ’s love in action. A healthy church honours both the ministry of the Word and the ministry of tables.

Deacons are not second-class leaders; they are frontline warriors in the service of Christ, pointing all they serve to the ultimate Servant King.
We are beyond excited about what God has in store for our church and for students; he is doing a new thing.

We will celebrate this special moment on Sunday, May 11th, with Ian and Val Byrd (the leaders of Lifelinks International).

As a church, we are called not to settle, but to step forward in faith. The beginning of June 2025 is a season for us to love Egham. Our town needs more than good intentions — it needs the transforming hope of Jesus Christ.

Now is the time to be bold in prayer, generous in love, and courageous in action. We are not here by accident; we are placed in Egham for a purpose — to be salt and light.

Through acts of kindness, Spirit-led conversations, and faithful witness, we believe God will touch lives and change hearts. Let’s be ready to sow seeds, share stories, and show the love of Christ. Together, let’s move Egham towards God’s glorious future.

We will be working with St John's to impact the town in a week of Mission, details to follow straight after Easter;

Outreach, special events, joint activities, on the streets.

Put the dates in your diary from the 29th of May through to the 8th of June.
Testimony Story
Elizabeth shares her testimony on trusting God in all things.

My name is Elizabeth, and I believe that God indeed uses various situations we go through in life to accomplish good - if only we wait on Him and have faith.

The following account of mine testifies to that truth. Here

Church on Sunday at Strodes College, Egham

welcome 2

Our Sunday service starts at 11:00 a.m. and typically lasts about 90 minutes.

We start each service with lively worship with songs from around the world, followed by inspired Bible-based teaching. All our sermons are recorded and are available as a podcast after the service.

We have a monthly cycle of Sunday services, with our Communion Service being on the first Sunday of each month and an All-Age All-Nation Service on the second Sunday of each month. Our other Sunday services include Spirit-focused and teaching services.

We have consciously adopted being a blended church that is both for those online and face-to-face. You are welcome to join us on Livestream or via Facebook, Linkedin, YouTube, or X (Twitter), or you can catch up and watch the recordings later.

Joining us in person

Visiting a new and unfamiliar church for the first time can be intimidating, but we want to ensure you feel welcome and enjoy your time with us. A friendly face will be waiting to meet you at the entrance and welcome you.

Doors open at 10:30 a.m. for coffee and prayer. Our Sunday Service starts at 11:00 a.m. and typically runs for about 90 minutes, normally followed by tea and coffee.

We have plenty of parking spaces right outside the building. Spaces are reserved near the entrance for anyone with mobility problems (for those with a blue badge). Please let us know if you need to use one of these spaces, have any special needs, or require any assistance.

The car parking area is a public area, so please ensure that your children are under your control and that, for their safety, they do not run around in the car park.

Visiting with children?

Everyone is welcome at RCF. We encourage everyone, young and old, to join the service. We have Sunday School, which starts after worship and runs during the sermon for 30 to 40 minutes for children aged 4 to 12. On the second Sunday of each month, we have a shorter All-Aged All Nations Service, where the children stay for the worship and the sermon.

After Church

We chat over coffee and biscuits after church on the first, third and fourth Sundays. If you want to get more acquainted, why not join us for a Sunday lunch with some of our members? The meal is on us! Please contact us and let us know. We would love to share a meal and get to know you better!
