Wíwá iṣẹ́ ìyanu nínú ìgbésí ayé wa ojoojúmọ́ kìí sábà bẹ̀rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ìran, ṣùgbọ́n pẹ̀lú ìgbọràn. Ìwé Mímọ́ ń tọ́ka sí wa nígbà gbogbo sí Ọlọ́run kan tí ó ń ṣiṣẹ́ nípasẹ̀ ìṣòtítọ́ lásán láti fi oore-ọ̀fẹ́ àrà ọ̀tọ̀ hàn. Nínú Hébérù 5:8, a rán wa létí pé Jésù kọ́ ìgbọràn nípasẹ̀ ohun tí ó jìyà. Ẹsẹ kan ṣoṣo yẹn tún ṣe àtúnṣe òye wa nípa iṣẹ́ ìyanu. Wọn kìí ṣe ìgbà gbogbo ni ìgbàlà òjijì, ṣùgbọ́n a sábà máa ń ṣe é nípasẹ̀ ìfaradà, ìgbẹ́kẹ̀lé, àti ìgbàgbọ́ tí ó gbowólórí. Iṣẹ́ ìyanu kìí ṣe àbájáde nìkan, ṣùgbọ́n ìyípadà tí ó ń ṣẹlẹ̀ nínú wa bí a ṣe ń rìn ní ọ̀nà tí Ọlọ́run gbé kalẹ̀ níwájú wa.

A ń gbé nínú àṣà tí ó ń fẹ́ àbájáde lójúkan náà, síbẹ̀ Ìjọba náà sábà máa ń rìn ní ìṣísẹ̀ ìṣẹ̀dá. Noa kò jí ní òwúrọ̀ kan láti rí ọkọ̀ ojú omi tí ó pé ní ọgbà rẹ̀. Nínú Jẹ́nẹ́sísì 6:8-16, a kà pé Noa rí ojúrere ní ojú Olúwa, lẹ́yìn náà ó lo ọ̀pọ̀ ọdún láti kọ́ ohun kan tí a kò tíì rí rí, ní ìgbọràn sí ọ̀rọ̀ kan tí ó dàbí èyí tí kò ṣeé ṣe. Iṣẹ́ ìyanu náà kìí ṣe pé a pa ènìyàn mọ́ nìkan, ṣùgbọ́n pé ọkùnrin kan gbẹ́kẹ̀lé Ọlọ́run tó láti máa kọ́ nígbà tí òjò kò sí, kò sí ìyìn, kò sì sí ìdánilójú tí ó kọjá ìlérí Ọlọ́run fúnra rẹ̀. Ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ iṣẹ́ ìyanu tiwa ni a ń ṣe ní ìdákẹ́jẹ́ẹ́ bí a ṣe ń farahàn, lójoojúmọ́.

Àwọn ọmọ-ẹ̀yìn náà ń tiraka pẹ̀lú èyí. Nínú Máàkù 16:14-18, Jésù bá wọn wí fún àìnígbàgbọ́ wọn, lẹ́yìn náà ó pàṣẹ fún wọn láti wo àwọn aláìsàn sàn kí wọ́n sì kéde ìhìnrere pẹ̀lú agbára. Àwọn ọmọlẹ́yìn kan náà tí wọ́n ṣiyèméjì ni a fi àmì àti iṣẹ́ ìyanu lé lọ́wọ́. Èyí sọ ohun pàtàkì kan fún wa. Ọlọ́run kò dúró de ìgbàgbọ́ pípé kí ó tó tú ète iṣẹ́ ìyanu jáde. Ó ń pe àwọn ọkàn tí wọ́n fẹ́ láti gbé ìgbésẹ̀ síwájú, ìgbàgbọ́ sì ń dàgbàsókè. Lọ́pọ̀ ìgbà, iṣẹ́ ìyanu tí a ń wá ni a rí ní apá kejì ìgbọràn dípò ìdánilójú.

Àwọn ètò Ọlọ́run fún wa kì í ṣe àìròtẹ́lẹ̀ tàbí ìfèsìpadà. Nínú Jeremáyà 29:11-13, Olúwa sọ̀rọ̀ ìrètí fún àwọn ènìyàn tí wọ́n wà ní ìgbèkùn, ó ń ṣèlérí ọjọ́ iwájú tí ó dúró nínú èrò Rẹ̀. Síbẹ̀ ìlérí náà ní ìsopọ̀ pẹ̀lú ìpè láti wá A pẹ̀lú gbogbo ọkàn wa. Ọjọ́ iwájú ìyanu ní í ṣe pẹ̀lú ìwá kiri lọ́wọ́lọ́wọ́. Nígbà tí a bá wá Ọlọ́run nínú ìró àdúrà, iṣẹ́, àti iṣẹ́ ìsìn, a rí i pé wíwà Rẹ̀ ti ń ṣiṣẹ́, ó ń tún àwọn ipò wa àti ìwà wa ṣe.

Àlàáfíà jẹ́ iṣẹ́ ìyanu mìíràn tí a sábà máa ń gbójú fo. Jésù ń bá ọkàn wa tí ó ń ṣàníyàn sọ̀rọ̀ ní Jòhánù 14:27 nígbà tí ó ń fún wa ní àlàáfíà rẹ̀, kì í ṣe gẹ́gẹ́ bí ayé ṣe ń fúnni, ṣùgbọ́n gẹ́gẹ́ bí ẹ̀bùn pípẹ́. Àlàáfíà yìí kò sẹ́ wàhálà, ṣùgbọ́n ó kọjá rẹ̀. Láti ní ìrírí ìparọ́rọ́ láàárín ìfúnpá, àìdánilójú, tàbí àdánù kò ju iṣẹ́ ìyanu lọ. Ó jẹ́ ẹ̀rí pé Ọlọ́run ń ṣiṣẹ́ nínú wa, ó ń ṣọ́ ọkàn wa nígbà tí àwọn ipò kò bá sí àtúnṣe.

Àpọ́stélì Pọ́ọ̀lù gbé iṣẹ́ ìyanu agbára yìí kalẹ̀ nínú Fílípì 4:13. Ìkéde rẹ̀ pé òun lè ṣe ohun gbogbo nípasẹ̀ Kristi tí ó fún òun ní agbára ni a kọ láti inú ìdènà, kì í ṣe ìtùnú. Iṣẹ́ ìyanu náà kì í ṣe àsálà kúrò nínú ìnira, ṣùgbọ́n ìfaradà pẹ̀lú ète. Ọ̀pọ̀ àwọn onígbàgbọ́ ń dúró de ìlẹ̀kùn láti ṣí, nígbà tí Ọlọ́run ti ń fún wọn ní agbára láti dúró ṣinṣin níbi tí wọ́n wà.

Wíwá iṣẹ́ ìyanu nínú ìgbésí ayé ojoojúmọ́ túmọ̀ sí kíkọ́ láti mọ àwọn ìka ọwọ́ Ọlọ́run nínú ìgbọ́ràn kékeré, ìfaradà dídákẹ́jẹ́ẹ́, àlàáfíà àìròtẹ́lẹ̀, àti agbára tí ó dúró pẹ́. Ó jẹ́ yíyàn láti gbẹ́kẹ̀lé Ọlọ́run nígbà tí àbájáde kò bá ṣe kedere, láti wá A nígbà tí ìdáhùn bá jìnnà, àti láti máa rìn nígbà tí ìlọsíwájú bá dàbí pé ó lọ́ra. Runnymede Christian Fellowship is a church based in Egham but serving a much larger geographical area. Those who call us home come from EghamVirginia Water, Staines, Englefield Green, Egham Hythe, Pooley Green, Maidenhead, Heathrow, Slough, Ashford, Thorpe, Windsor, Woking and beyond.

Our church is a community of believers who gather regularly to share life and demonstrate God's love. We do this by encouraging and serving each other and the community. We believe in the power of prayer and are always happy to pray for you.
 

Church - What to expect

Our Sunday service is available to stream online at 11:00 a.m. You can join us on Livestream or via Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube or X (Twitter).

The Sunday Service is now held at Strodes College, Strodes College Lane in Egham open to all, so if you would like to join us, please feel free to do so. If you have any questions, please call us on 01784 637010.

We run a physical Sunday School most weeks. If you would like your children to receive a weekly Sunday School teaching pack that you can do from home, please email us at admin@e-runnymede.co.uk so that we can send you the materials.

 Prophetic word for students -

Our Sunday service starts at 11:00 a.m. and typically lasts about 90 minutes.

We begin each service with lively worship, featuring songs from around the world, followed by inspiring, Bible-based teaching. All our sermons are recorded and are available as a podcast after the service.

We have a monthly cycle of Sunday services, with our Communion Service being on the first Sunday of each month and an All-Age All-Nation Service on the second Sunday of each month. Our other Sunday services include Spirit-focused and teaching services.

We have consciously adopted being a blended church, that is, both online and face-to-face. You are welcome to join us on Livestream or via Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, or X (Twitter), or you can catch up and watch the recordings later.
 

Joining us in person

Visiting a new and unfamiliar church for the first time can be intimidating, but we want to ensure you feel welcome and enjoy your time with us. A friendly face will be waiting to meet you at the entrance and welcome you. 

Doors open at 10:30 a.m. for coffee and prayer. Our Sunday Service starts at 11:00 a.m. and typically runs for about 90 minutes, normally followed by tea and coffee.
 

Driving and Car Parking

Our Sunday Morning Service is now held at Strodes College, Strodes College Lane, Egham, TW20 9DR, which has ample parking. Click on the link for directions to RCF.

We have plenty of parking spaces right outside the building. Spaces are reserved near the entrance for anyone with mobility issues (those with a blue badge). Please let us know if you need to use one of these spaces, have any special needs, or require any assistance.

The car parking area is a public area, so please ensure that your children are under your control and that, for their safety, they do not run around in the car park.
 

Visiting with children?

Everyone is welcome at RCF. We encourage everyone, regardless of age, to join the service. We offer Sunday School, which begins after worship and runs concurrently with the sermon for 30 to 40 minutes, serving children aged 4 to 12. On the second Sunday of each month, we have a shorter All-Aged All Nations Service, where the children stay for the worship and the sermon.
 

After Church

We chat over coffee and biscuits after church on the first, third, fourth and fifth Sundays. If you want to get more acquainted, why not join us for a Sunday lunch with some of our members? The first meal is on us (Voucher provided).  Please contact us and let us know. We would love to share a meal and get to know you better!
