Dave and Julia Food
- Senior Leaders
  Simon and Yasmin Chaffer
- Preaching and Teaching
Dave has a real passion for seeing the Church fulfil its destiny. The Church is made up of people who also need to step into their God-given calling; filled with the Spirit, they can do immeasurably more.

Dave has led the Church at RCF since 1994, through many different seasons; he enjoys the multi-dimensional Church that RCF is becoming as we reach the world from our current location.

Dave has led the church, been very active in the marketplace, and been prophetic wherever he has been. More recently, he has written several books for Christians in the Marketplace.

Dave enjoys walking the dog, Teddy, and getting out into the fresh air daily, often in the King's Great Park, marvelling at the wonder of God's creation.

Dave (also known as David when you want his attention) is a passionate networker who loves to see people connect with God and one another and fulfil their destinies.

Julia has a heart for people in need of compassion; she loves gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Julia trained as a social worker at the University of Bath and qualified in 1987. She spent the next ten years working in child protection and childcare for a local authority, collaborating extensively with education, health services, and the police, caring for children at risk or in the local authority's care.

Simon and Yasmin Chaffer are valued members of the senior leadership team at Runnymede Christian Fellowship, bringing warmth, authenticity, and a deep love for people to the life of the church.

Simon is a Yorkshireman who is ready to pray and willing to preach God's Rhema (now) word to us, sharing God's heart in pragmatic and realistic ways.

Simon carries a strong preaching and prayer ministry, communicating God’s present word in a grounded, practical, and Spirit-led way that helps people connect faith to everyday life. His teaching often challenges people to walk courageously with God and step into their calling with confidence and expectancy.

Yasmin ministers with compassion, sensitivity, and wisdom, helping people encounter the caring heart of God in personal and transformative ways.

Together, they help strengthen the pastoral, prophetic, and teaching foundations of the church, both online and face-to-face. Through livestreams, teaching, prayer, encouragement, and relational ministry, Simon and Yasmin continue to help shape a welcoming, Spirit-filled community that reaches across Egham, Runnymede, and beyond.

Cerys Samuel
- Student Leader and Worship Co-ordinator
  Jonathan Kattekola and Salma Qureshi
- Worship Leaders and Technology Team, Deacons
Cerys is a graduate in Law with Criminology at Royal Holloway, University of London. She originally comes from a family farm in Devon. Her faith in Jesus is central to her life, and she is passionate about serving wherever she can, using the gifts God has given her to help grow His church and advance His kingdom.

At Runnymede Christian Fellowship, she serves as a Student leader and worship coordinator, with a deep passion for worship and a heart to see others filled with the Holy Spirit as they glorify God together. She has a particular love for student ministry and finds great joy in supporting and guiding fellow students in their walk with God. Leading Bible studies and journeying alongside them in the everyday aspects of life have been highlights, especially as she has witnessed the student group grow in both number and spiritual maturity each week.

She also works closely with the local Christian Union and other churches in the area to build a strong support network for students at Royal Holloway. With a keen interest in social media, she enjoys using visual communication and creative content to share what God is doing in the church and in people's lives. Whether behind a camera or writing blog posts, she considers it a privilege to serve in this way.

She looks forward to welcoming new faces and building meaningful relationships within the church community. Cerys now works in this role part-time in the Church and whilst also as an Evangelism Developer at Fusion. You can partner with her here on this journey.

Jonathan and Salma serve as Worship Leaders and Deacons at RCF. They are passionate about creating a worship environment that draws people closer to God and reflects His presence with excellence and authenticity.

Jonathan leads the Technology Team at RCF, overseeing all aspects of audio-visual, livestreaming, and technical operations to ensure every service runs smoothly, both in-person and online. Salma plays a key role both on stage and behind the scenes, supporting worship and contributing to the smooth delivery of each service.

Together, they are dedicated to building the church, encouraging others in their faith, and using their gifts to serve the RCF community with joy and purpose.

Robert Sarbah-Yalley
- Treasurer and Deacon
  Julie Stevenson
- Administrator and Sunday
 School
Rob has a passion to win souls for Christ, see people delivered, set free and living a victorious life in their newfound life in Jesus.

Originally from Ghana, He has lived in the UK since the mid-1980s. He has a heart for prayer and encouraging new believers in their walk with God. Another passion of his is sharing the gospel with others and reaching out to the lost through evangelism.

He has a flair for figures and has worked in finance all his life. In his spare time, He likes to fellowship with other believers and encourage them in these challenging times.
Julie carries a quiet but core role within the life of the church. She represents the strength that comes from faithful service, steady encouragement, and a heart that is committed to seeing people flourish in their walk with Christ. Julie reflects the Kingdom principle that some of the greatest influence comes through consistency, compassion, and spiritual maturity.

Julie’s contribution is supportive as the Church administrator and a key member of the children's team, helping create an atmosphere where people feel welcomed, valued, and spiritually supported. Whether through practical service, relational connection, prayerful support, or simply being present for others, she demonstrates the servant-hearted nature of authentic Christian community. People like Julie help carry the weight of ministry faithfully behind the scenes, and the fruit of that faithfulness is often seen in transformed lives and strengthened relationships across the fellowship.

Whether this is your first time visiting a church or you’ve attended another church for years, we understand that visiting a new church can be a bit overwhelming. To help make it a bit easier, we’ve done our best to answer some questions you may have, so your first experience is a little less overwhelming.

Runnymede Christian Fellowship is a church based in Egham but serving a much larger geographical area. Those who call us home come from Egham, Virginia Water, Staines, Englefield Green, Egham Hythe, Pooley Green, Maidenhead, Ascot, Camberley, Sunbury, Heathrow, Slough, Ashford, Sunninghill, Sunningdale, Thorpe, Windsor, Woking and beyond.

Our church is a community of believers who gather regularly to share life and demonstrate God's love. We do this by encouraging and serving each other and the community. We believe in the power of prayer and are always happy to pray for you.

Sunday Venue at Coopers Hall, Strodes College, Strodes College Lane, Egham

 Prophetic word for students -

Our Sunday service starts at 11.00 and typically lasts about 90 minutes.

We begin each service with lively worship, featuring songs from around the world, followed by inspiring, Bible-based teaching. All our sermons are recorded and are available as a podcast after the service.

We have a monthly cycle of Sunday services, with our Communion Service on the first Sunday of each month and an All-Age All-Nation Service on the second. Our other Sunday services include a Lingering (spirit-filled) and Teaching service.

We have consciously adopted being a blended church, that is, both online and face-to-face. You are welcome to join us on Livestream or via Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, or X, or catch up with the recordings later.

Joining us in person

Visiting a new and unfamiliar church for the first time can be intimidating, but we want to ensure you feel welcome and enjoy your time with us. A friendly face will be waiting to meet you at the entrance and welcome you.

Doors open at 10:30 for coffee and prayer.
Our Sunday Service starts at 11:00 and typically runs for about 90 minutes, normally followed by tea and coffee.

Driving and Car Parking

Our Sunday Venue is Coopers Hall, Strodes College, Strodes College Lane, Egham, TW20 9DR, which has ample parking.

We have plenty of parking spaces right outside the building. Spaces are reserved near the entrance for anyone with mobility issues (those with a blue badge). We also have step free access to the hall. Please let us know if you need to use one of these spaces, have any special needs, or require any assistance.

The car parking area is a public area, so please ensure that your children are under your control and that, for their safety, they do not run around in the car park.

Public Transport

Our Sunday Meetings are in Coopers Hall, Strodes College, Strodes College Lane, Egham, TW20 9DR.
It's just off Egham High Street, so if you have found Esquires, then you are nearly there.

We are very close to bus stops in Church Street with buses to Slough, Windsor, Staines, Heathrow, Sunbury and beyond.
Our Sunday venue is less than a 5-minute walk from Egham Railway Station.

Visiting with children?

Everyone is welcome at RCF. We encourage everyone, regardless of age, to join the service. We offer Sunday School, which begins after worship and runs concurrently with the sermon for 30 to 40 minutes, serving children aged 4 to 12. On the second Sunday of each month, we have a shorter All-Aged All Nations Service, where the children stay for the worship and the sermon.

After Church

We chat over coffee and biscuits after church on the first, third, fourth and fifth Sundays. If you want to get to know us better, why not join us for Sunday lunch with some of our members? The first meal for students is on us (Voucher provided).  Please contact us and let us know. We would love to share a meal and get to know you better!
