当危机成为你的平台时

此时此刻，有一种声音正在升起，它宣告说：那本意要将你埋葬的事物，正是神要用来使你兴起的事物。亲爱的，你正经历的这场危机并非你故事的终局，而是你神圣使命的沃土。上天从不浪费痛苦，因为我们知道，万事都互相效力，叫爱神的人得益处（罗马书 8:28）。仇敌意欲将其变为坟墓之处，主却将其重塑为通往荣耀的门户；而在但以理的生命中，这一点体现得尤为清晰。

回想一下但以理故事的开端：耶路撒冷陷落，圣殿遭洗劫，一位出身高贵的年轻人被戴上锁链，押往巴比伦（但以理书 1:1-4）。他所熟悉的一切——家园、母语，甚至名字——都被剥夺殆尽。若说有什么能称得上是真正的危机，那便是此刻了。流亡，往往意味着梦想的破灭。然而，请看神的作为：那本该让但以理噤声的囚禁生涯，竟成了他向列王传达神旨意的讲台，这一传讲便是七十余载。巴比伦的烈火熔炉，淬炼出了一个连帝国都无法忽视的声音。

你的“巴比伦”并非你的埋骨之地，而是乔装打扮的“伯特利”（神的殿）。主在说：“我允许这重压临到，是因为我要榨出油来。”这压榨并非出于残忍，而是为了成圣。但以理虽未选择去往巴比伦，却选择了在其中如何生活，而正是这一选择，扭转了一切。

但以理在心里立志（但以理书 1:8）。早在面对狮子坑的考验之前，他便已在王宫的宴席上，默默拒绝了王的珍馐美味。危机往往能显明安逸所掩盖的真相。你的“讲台”并非建于王宫之中，而是建立在成圣的隐秘之处——建立在那些微小却不为人知的抉择之上，当你宣告：“主啊，无论代价如何，我属于祢。”你在暗处立定的心志，终将化为神在明处赐予你的名声。趁着试炼尚未加剧，现在就在心里立定心志：你完全属于祂。

但以理始终敞开着他的窗户。当那道将祷告定为罪行的法令颁布时，但以理回到自己的房间，打开朝向耶路撒冷的窗户，一如既往地一日三次向神祷告（但以理书 6:10）。他祷告并非因为危机临到；他是在危机中坚持祷告，因为祷告早已成为他生活的常态。亲爱的，不要等到风暴来袭才去寻求神的面。那扇敞开的窗户，象征着敞开的天空。你在危机中的亲密相交，将成为你在公众面前的见证与权柄。君王之所以听从但以理，是因为但以理先听从了神。

解梦的智慧源于亲密的关系。当尼布甲尼撒王提出那看似不可能的要求——既要说出梦境又要解释其含义——巴比伦的智者们都战兢不已；然而，但以理向天上的神寻求怜悯，神便在夜间的异象中向他显明了奥秘（但以理书 2:17-19）。请留意这一点：那场威胁但以理生命的危机，竟成了他获得晋升的契机（但以理书 2:48）。令世人恐惧战兢的事，却成了他口中的见证。有些奥秘，神只向那些在生死关头仍竭力亲近祂的人显明。你的危机，其实是进入神启示的邀请。世人迫切寻求的答案，或许正隐藏在你的密室祷告之中。

狮子坑的经历往往在黎明之前。但以理被扔进狮子坑，并非因为他的失败，而是因为他的忠心。有时，顺服的道路会先带你经历低谷，然后才将你高举。然而，那位封住狮子口的上帝（但以理书 6:22），将一位君王的不眠之夜，转变为向全国发出的宣告：祂是永生神，永远长存（但以理书 6:26）。一个人在狮子坑中的漫漫长夜，最终化作了一道传遍各族、各国、各方言的法令。你看见了吗？狮子坑并非你的败局，而是蓄势待发的宣告。那些你靠着恩典胜过的经历，将成为他人得救的途径。

那么，在这个季节里，主对你说什么呢？祂在说：不要轻看流亡的处境，也不要咒诅你身处的巴比伦。要善尽管家的职分，要在其中卓越地服事——正如但以理在服事外邦君王时，始终持守圣洁的心志，未曾妥协。要敞开你的窗户，要在心中立定心志。要像珍视宝藏一样守护你的分别为圣，因为在异国他乡，这正是天国的“通行货币”。当寻求祂，以领受对时代的解读。主正在这一代兴起“但以理”式的人物——他们曾历经危机，如今危机已化作资格；他们曾身负创伤，如今伤痕已化作见证；他们曾身处黑夜，如今黑夜已化作事工。

我感到圣灵在说：你所承受的压力，正是在为你定位；你在被掳之地洒下的泪水，乃是权柄的种子。只要你在烈火的试炼中保持忠心，你身上必显出美好的灵性（但以理书 6:3），那无人能关的门也必为你敞开（以赛亚书 22:22）。那位曾在巴比伦与但以理同在的神，如今也与身处破碎境地的你同在；祂必信实地成全祂所开始的工。

举目仰望吧，危机并非结局，而是使命的开启。在黑暗中向祂说“我愿意”吧，看祂如何使你的生命在被掳之地成为明亮的灯台。你的“巴比伦”终将向你所事奉的神屈膝；而你的故事，也将如但以理的一样，宣告祂的国度永不败坏（但以理书 2:44）。

Planning your Visit

Why not plan a visit to try us out?

Whether this is your first time visiting a church or you’ve attended another church for years, we understand that visiting a new church can be a bit overwhelming. To help make it a bit easier, we’ve done our best to answer some questions you may have, so your first experience is a little less overwhelming.

Runnymede Christian Fellowship is a church based in Egham but serving a much larger geographical area. Those who call us home come from Egham, Virginia Water, Staines, Englefield Green, Egham Hythe, Pooley Green, Maidenhead, Ascot, Camberley, Sunbury, Heathrow, Slough, Ashford, Thorpe, Windsor, Woking and beyond.

Our church is a community of believers who gather regularly to share life and demonstrate God's love. We do this by encouraging and serving each other and the community. We believe in the power of prayer and are always happy to pray for you.

Church - What to expect

Our Sunday service is available to stream online at 11 am. You can join us on Livestream or via Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube or X.

The Sunday Venue is Coopers Hall, Strodes College, Strodes College Lane in Egham, open to all, so if you would like to join us, please feel free to do so. If you have any questions, please call us on 01784 637010.

We run a physical Sunday School most weeks. If you would like your children to receive a weekly Sunday School teaching pack that you can do from home, please email us at admin@e-runnymede.co.uk so that we can send you the materials.

Sunday Venue at Coopers Hall, Strodes College, Strodes College Lane, Egham

Our Sunday service starts at 11.00 and typically lasts about 90 minutes.

We begin each service with lively worship, featuring songs from around the world, followed by inspiring, Bible-based teaching. All our sermons are recorded and are available as a podcast after the service.

We have a monthly cycle of Sunday services, with our Communion Service on the first Sunday of each month and an All-Age All-Nation Service on the second. Our other Sunday services include Spirit-focused and teaching services.

We have consciously adopted being a blended church, that is, both online and face-to-face. You are welcome to join us on Livestream or via Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, or X, or catch up with the recordings later.

Joining us in person

Visiting a new and unfamiliar church for the first time can be intimidating, but we want to ensure you feel welcome and enjoy your time with us. A friendly face will be waiting to meet you at the entrance and welcome you.

Doors open at 10:30 for coffee and prayer.
Our Sunday Service starts at 11:00 and typically runs for about 90 minutes, normally followed by tea and coffee.

Driving and Car Parking

Our Sunday Venue is Coopers Hall, Strodes College, Strodes College Lane, Egham, TW20 9DR, which has ample parking.

We have plenty of parking spaces right outside the building. Spaces are reserved near the entrance for anyone with mobility issues (those with a blue badge). Please let us know if you need to use one of these spaces, have any special needs, or require any assistance.

The car parking area is a public area, so please ensure that your children are under your control and that, for their safety, they do not run around in the car park.

Visiting with children?

Everyone is welcome at RCF. We encourage everyone, regardless of age, to join the service. We offer Sunday School, which begins after worship and runs concurrently with the sermon for 30 to 40 minutes, serving children aged 4 to 12. On the second Sunday of each month, we have a shorter All-Aged All Nations Service, where the children stay for the worship and the sermon.

After Church

We chat over coffee and biscuits after church on the first, third, fourth and fifth Sundays. If you want to get to know us better, why not join us for Sunday lunch with some of our members? The first meal is on us (Voucher provided). Please contact us and let us know. We would love to share a meal and get to know you better!
