在圣洁的大能中行事

有一个词，许多信徒已悄然将其束之高阁——虽远远仰望，却鲜少取下践行。这个词就是“圣洁”。在有些人听来，它显得过时，仿佛是严厉讲道中遗留下来的古董；在另一些人眼中，它似乎遥不可及。然而，当我翻开圣经时，却发现圣洁绝非博物馆里的陈列品。它是天堂特有的气息，而主正邀请祂的子民在今天就呼吸这气息，并活出它所赋予的大能。

彼得写道：“那召你们的既是圣洁，你们在一切所行的事上也要圣洁。因为经上记着说：‘你们要圣洁，因为我是圣洁的。’”（彼得前书 1:15-16）。这一呼召植根于神自身的本性。祂要求我们圣洁，并非因为祂乐于让人生活艰难；祂呼召我们圣洁，是因为祂是圣洁的，而我们是祂的儿女。儿女身上总会带有父亲的形象。

我逐渐认识到，我们许多人误解了圣洁的含义。我们往往将其仅仅视为一种“与……隔绝”的状态，即一份必须回避之事的长长清单。诚然，圣灵确实引导我们远离罪恶；但圣洁首先且最重要的是一种“归向某位”的分别——即分别为圣归给主自己，全然属祂，在生活的方方面面都属于祂。当我们这样看待圣洁时，它便不再是束缚人的牢笼，而成了爱的盟约。

试想一下以赛亚在圣殿中的经历。他看见主高高坐在宝座上，撒拉弗呼喊道：“圣哉！圣哉！圣哉！万军之耶和华；祂的荣光充满全地！”（以赛亚书 6:3）。面对这一切，以赛亚的反应并非制定一份更完美的自我提升计划，而是在神面前俯伏，深感自己全然败坏。随后，祭坛上的一块红炭触碰了他的嘴唇；他的罪咎被除去，罪孽得了赦免。唯有在那一刻，他才听见主的声音问道：“我差遣谁呢？”圣洁始于一次神圣的相遇，借着恩典在他生命中作工，最终引领他进入神所命定的使命之中。这也是我们应当效法的模式。真正的圣洁并非靠我们自己的力量所能造就，而是源于置身于祂的同在之中。我们花越多时间注视耶稣，生命就越发改变。保罗告诉我们：“我们众人既然敞着脸得以看见主的荣光，好像从镜子里返照，就变成主的形状，荣上加荣，如同从主的灵变成的”（哥林多后书 3:18）。生命的改变正是“注视”所结出的果实。

这正是能力彰显之处。圣洁与能力本不可分割。三位一体中的第三位被称为“圣灵”，这绝非偶然。那位叫基督从死里复活的圣灵，如今就住在我们里面，而祂是圣洁的。当我们顺服祂时，便会发现祂的圣洁蕴含着权柄。在一个完全降服的生命中，黑暗毫无立足之地。仇敌总在寻找敞开的门户或容忍罪恶的隐秘角落，但一颗分别为圣归给神的心，却成了神国自由推进的所在。

看看《使徒行传》中的早期教会吧。那些平凡的渔夫和税吏一祷告，聚会之处便震动起来。神迹奇事伴随着他们，因为他们被圣灵充满，并存敬畏主的心行事。圣洁为能力腾出了空间，而能力则印证了福音的信息。

读到这里，有些人或许会感到挫败。也许你曾努力过圣洁的生活，却屡屡跌倒。请容我以此勉励你：圣洁并非一蹴而就的完美，而是一段每日降服的旅程。在神眼中，耶稣的宝血已使你成为圣洁。《希伯来书》告诉我们：“因为他一次献祭，便叫那得以成圣的人永远完全”（希伯来书 10:14）。你在祂里面已然完全，同时也正日渐成圣——这两者都是真实的。安息于祂已成就的事工，并配合祂正在进行的工作。

那么，我们该如何行在这能力之中呢？我们要从把清晨献给主开始，在寻求任何事物之前，先寻求祂的面。我们与祂保持即时的关系，迅速认罪并领受祂的洁净。我们谨慎把守，不让不洁之物进入我们的眼、耳与心。我们选择宽恕，因为苦毒会玷污生命。我们紧守神的话语，正如耶稣所祷告的：“求你用真理使他们成圣；你的道就是真理”（约翰福音 17:17）。我们也邀请圣灵鉴察我们，并引导我们走上永恒的道路。

亲爱的弟兄姊妹，周围的世界正渴望着某种真实的东西。它不需要一个与世俗如出一辙的教会，而是需要一群分别为圣的人——这群人散发着基督的馨香，并彰显着祂圣灵的大能。让我们将“圣洁”从高高在上的架子上取下，重新穿戴在身；这不应是沉重的负担，而应是恩典的衣袍。当我们这样做时，我相信我们将看见祂的荣耀以崭新的方式临到我们的家庭、教会和国家。
要圣洁，因为祂是圣洁的；并且要活在圣洁所带来的大能之中。

Whether this is your first time visiting a church or you’ve attended another church for years, we understand that visiting a new church can be a bit overwhelming. To help make it a bit easier, we’ve done our best to answer some questions you may have, so your first experience is a little less overwhelming.

Runnymede Christian Fellowship is a church based in Egham but serving a much larger geographical area. Those who call us home come from Egham, Virginia Water, Staines, Englefield Green, Egham Hythe, Pooley Green, Maidenhead, Ascot, Camberley, Sunbury, Heathrow, Slough, Ashford, Sunninghill, Sunningdale, Thorpe, Windsor, Woking and beyond.

Our church is a community of believers who gather regularly to share life and demonstrate God's love. We do this by encouraging and serving each other and the community. We believe in the power of prayer and are always happy to pray for you.

Church - What to expect

Our Sunday service is available to stream online at 11 am. You can join us on Livestream or via Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube or X.

The Sunday Venue is Coopers Hall, Strodes College, Strodes College Lane in Egham, open to all, so if you would like to join us, please feel free to do so. If you have any questions, please call us on 01784 637010.

We run a physical Sunday School most weeks. If you would like your children to receive a weekly Sunday School teaching pack that you can do from home, please email us at admin@e-runnymede.co.uk so that we can send you the materials.

Sunday Venue at Coopers Hall, Strodes College, Strodes College Lane, Egham

Our Sunday service starts at 11.00 and typically lasts about 90 minutes.

We begin each service with lively worship, featuring songs from around the world, followed by inspiring, Bible-based teaching. All our sermons are recorded and are available as a podcast after the service.

We have a monthly cycle of Sunday services, with our Communion Service on the first Sunday of each month and an All-Age All-Nation Service on the second. Our other Sunday services include a Lingering (spirit-filled) and Teaching service.

We have consciously adopted being a blended church, that is, both online and face-to-face. You are welcome to join us on Livestream or via Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, or X, or catch up with the recordings later.

Joining us in person

Visiting a new and unfamiliar church for the first time can be intimidating, but we want to ensure you feel welcome and enjoy your time with us. A friendly face will be waiting to meet you at the entrance and welcome you.

Doors open at 10:30 for coffee and prayer.
Our Sunday Service starts at 11:00 and typically runs for about 90 minutes, normally followed by tea and coffee.

Driving and Car Parking

Our Sunday Venue is Coopers Hall, Strodes College, Strodes College Lane, Egham, TW20 9DR, which has ample parking.

We have plenty of parking spaces right outside the building. Spaces are reserved near the entrance for anyone with mobility issues (those with a blue badge). We also have step free access to the hall. Please let us know if you need to use one of these spaces, have any special needs, or require any assistance.

The car parking area is a public area, so please ensure that your children are under your control and that, for their safety, they do not run around in the car park.

Public Transport

Our Sunday Meetings are in Coopers Hall, Strodes College, Strodes College Lane, Egham, TW20 9DR.
It's just off Egham High Street, so if you have found Esquires, then you are nearly there.

We are very close to bus stops in Church Street with buses to Slough, Windsor, Staines, Heathrow, Sunbury and beyond.
Our Sunday venue is less than a 5-minute walk from Egham Railway Station.

Visiting with children?

Everyone is welcome at RCF. We encourage everyone, regardless of age, to join the service. We offer Sunday School, which begins after worship and runs concurrently with the sermon for 30 to 40 minutes, serving children aged 4 to 12. On the second Sunday of each month, we have a shorter All-Aged All Nations Service, where the children stay for the worship and the sermon.

After Church

We chat over coffee and biscuits after church on the first, third, fourth and fifth Sundays. If you want to get to know us better, why not join us for Sunday lunch with some of our members? The first meal for students is on us (Voucher provided). Please contact us and let us know. We would love to share a meal and get to know you better!
